The Farm is pocket community within walking distance of Main Street in Buena Vista. Featuring epic front porches, open green spaces and contemporary farmhouse architecture, The Farm is the first major development in the Rockies to create a high quality neighborhood at affordable prices.
BV is nestled below the Collegiate Peaks on the Arkansas River and features a thriving outdoor community. Main Street is the heart of our town with coffee shops. restaurants, bars, gear shops and even our own distillery.
The Farm is about 1 mile south of this Main Street in Buena Vista. It is also about .5 miles south of the middle and high schools.
The Farm welcomes buyers’ brokers to contact us. The Farm’s realtor acts as a Transaction Broker (handling both sides of the transaction), but the referring broker will receive our standard 0.75% referral fee.
A Pocket Community
Fading West believes in building communities, not just housing. To that end, The Farm is designed around a “pocket” community concept where each home is accessed from the back of the lot along one-way roads and the front of each home has a large porch that opens onto community green spaces. The Farm HOA will maintain the community green spaces and will also help to maintain the architectural consistency of the community. The different green spaces are all grass with numerous trees. They feature play areas, firepits, seating areas, exterior lighting and more. With bike paths connecting The Farm to Main Street, we hope to encourage non-vehicular traffic. This land design creates opportunity for building relationships and expanding community.
Our six home models feature a “Contemporary Farmhouse” theme and include two townhome floorplans with 2 or 3 bedrooms, two narrow lot detached floorplans with 3 bedrooms, and two wide lot detached floorplans with 3 or 4 bedrooms. All homes are built to upgraded IRC Code Specifications and built offsite in Nebraska then shipped as complete boxes to our Buena Vista site where they are placed on crawlspace foundations and connected to utilities. Each home is move in ready. Prices include the lot, the home, all fees, site work costs, taxes, some closing costs, real estate fees, appliances, floor covering, light fixtures, fiber optic pre-wiring, and large front porches. Each home is built to order based on client's options and upgrades with move in dates targeted at 6-8 months from submittal.
